Belvedere Institute of Education Mullingar offers a great selection of courses for people of all ages. The college is located right in the centre of Mullingar and classes take place in purpose built, bright, modern, air-conditioned classrooms.

SENIOR COLLEGE:

Leaving Cert. and Junior Cert. students are catered for with intensive Christmas, Easter and May revision courses in a wide variety of subjects as well as supervised evening study which is open to all second level students.

ADULT EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Lifelong Learning is the new buzzword in education these days and for good reason. By the year 2020 93% of the Irish labour force will need to have qualifications at, or above, leaving certificate level. This means 500,000 individuals within the workforce will need to be up-skilled and progress by at least one level over and above their current level of education and training.

FETAC stands for Further Education and Training Awards Council and is the national awarding body for further education and training in Ireland. Belvedere Institute is a FETAC registered provider and most of our Adult Education and Training programmes are FETAC accredited.

Professional Development

Belvedere Institute offers part-time Professional Development courses for owners, managers and employees of companies of all sizes in the areas of Management, HR, Customer Service and Personal Development. They also offer specially tailored English language tuition for non-national employees and manual handling training for all staff. These courses can be delivered on site subject to sufficient numbers.

Evening and Part-time Courses

Belvedere Institute is ideally placed to serve the education and training needs of the Westmeath area by providing a range of FETAC accredited evening and part-time courses in a wide variety of subjects including Languages, Business, Childcare, Healthcare, Social Sciences, Legal Studies and Counselling to name but a few.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL:

In addition to English language evening courses for adults, Belvedere Institute also runs an English Language Summer School for students from abroad coming to Mullingar to learn English. We cater for boys and girls aged 12-17 with English classes in the morning and afternoon activities.
