Course Description:

The aim of this course is to provide the participants with the knowledge, confidence and skills to work in an administrative position within an organisation. It will give the participants the knowledge and skills they need to understand every aspect of the business from finance to HR to sales providing an excellent foundation for employment in a broad range of administrative roles.

At the end of this course you should be able to:

  • Understand the financial aspects of business administration.
  • Undertake administrative duties in relation to meetings.
  • Process business documents in relation to sales, purchases, stock control and insurance.
  • Develop an understanding of the structure of an organisation.
  • Appreciate the functions of human resources within a business organisation.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for anybody working or seeking to work in an administrative role within an organisation or who is self-employed or seeking to set up their own business.

Monday evenings 7-9pm

Assessment and Accreditation:

On completion of two assignments and an examination participants will receive a FETAC level 5 Component Certificate in “Business Administration”
